Urban Honey - 4 piece blues influenced rock band

Urban Honey just owned there very first studio recording just a few weeks ago.  Their fresh perspective on working in a studio is enlightening.

Talk about your experience at Realgrey, what has it meant to you?
I've recorded a 4 track EP, on drums, with the band Urban Honey. I have also recorded drums with an artist named Charlie Parker, on a song he wrote, under an apprentice role with Ron, prior to our Urban Honeys experience. It meant a lot; as my experiences have been nothing short of professional and a very creative and relaxing environment. It's incredibly refreshing to me, as a musician, to have such an awesome facility right in Canton, Ohio's backyard!!

How would you describe the ethos ... experience ... purpose of the studio?
The ethos are pretty apparent in my opinion as soon as you get to talk to, and meet, the staff... Be yourself as an artist or group, this is a no judgment zone and you have total control over how you want your art to "sound" It's an absolute joy to have the "weight" of an engineer or producer off your back with how they "know" the artists music should like. In other word's, "Incredible artistic freedom" A true breath of fresh air during our experience at RealGrey!

Has the studio influenced your music in any way? If so, how?
Definitely! Urban Honey has been writing our new jams with the "sound" and "warmth" we are able to be blessed with at RealGrey!

Talk about the people that you've encountered at Realgrey ... what has your experience been w/ us?
Ron is an absolute monster! He gives the artist's all the freedom they want, in order to give them the sound they crave. All while giving pointers and tips along the way... Not pushy... Not condescending... Nothing but support!
