BYS is a great time to network with those who share common interests. Songwriting is just the beginning. Some writers might focus on composition while another might excel at lyrical aspects of song building. So there are always possibilities for collaboration.

Our Featured Artist kicks off the evening by presenting a set of songs. It gives the group a chance to interact with the writer and with each other. The idea is to celebrate the writing accomplishments of every participant.

After the Featured Artist’s set, we open the floor to those who have signed up to play. It’s more about sharing, less about performance. The environment is a super chill, relaxed space.

The heart of BRING YOUR SONG is to celebrate you ... and your musical accomplishment. It’s our hope that you’ll leave BYS feeling like you and your music means something and that you’ll feel a new level of thankfulness for the gifts that are inside you.

[6] The Cards

[6] The Cards

The community that has grown around BYS have been raised on the idea of encouragement.  The comment cards and discussion after each artist shares is the magic of the event.  All the cards are collected and presented to the artist at the conclusion of their song.  Dillon Stewart writes in Cleveland Magazine about his experience at BYS and the impact of the cards he received the night he shared.

BYS is a Non-Profit, 501-C-3 Private Foundation
