Line Crossing Stories
I've known Ron for a long time now. Every time I've ever been to the studio whether it's for a session, a Bring Your Song event, or just a hang I've always left encouraged and inspired. One of the first recording projects I ever did was with Ron and John at Realgrey. That experience had a profound impact on the way that I approached recording projects from that point on. It felt like every session was a family reunion more than a business transaction. You could tell that your project was deeply cared about and that you were cared about as a person too. I'm so thankful for the chances I've had to work in that space over the years, and wouldn't trade it.
The studio is a place dedicated to excellently capturing peoples art, and encouraging individuals creativity.
Realgrey as a studio, and the community surrounding it, has influenced my music in encouraging me to be true to my own passions and convictions for what my music should sound like as I see others doing the same. It has also helped me see how music can be human beings gifts to one another. The people at realgrey are some of the best people. Really. I have always left the studio feeling great.
I have met many people through realgrey, it would be hard to simply talk about one, I would just say that the possibility to connect to great people is part of what really sets realgrey apart.
