Sign-ups are from 6:30PM to 7PM. We ask for your stage name, the name of the song, a web location your music can be found and an email address. We don’t share your email address, but if you’d like we will add it to our email reminder list.

Once you sign-up your name will appear on the venue monitors in a scrolling list. We ask that you watch the list closely, we like to keep things moving but we do take a quick minute at the end of your song to comment and ask about some details.

The community that has grown around BYS have been raised on the idea of encouragement. The comment cards and discussion after each artist shares is the magic of the event. All the cards are collected and presented to the artist at the conclusion of their song. Dillon Stewart writes in Cleveland Magazine about his experience at BYS and the impact of the cards he received the night he shared.
What is Bring Your Song?
Bring Your Song is a non-profit organization created to celebrate and nurture songwriters. It is a supportive community whose aim is to help artists develop from budding songwriters to confident performers of original music. For eleven years, Bring Your Song participants have come to a monthly forum, shared original songs and were supported in their song writing development by experienced songwriters and their peers.
What is a monthly donor?
Bring Your Song facilitates a forum the first Monday of every month, September through May. These gatherings are held at The Auricle in downtown Canton. Each month between 15 and 20 songwriters share their original music and participate in nurturing other musicians. The monthly sponsor contributes $100 as a one-time donation for one monthly gathering. These funds will go toward the expenses that we incur at that month’s gathering.
What does the monthly Donor get from this contribution?
First and foremost, our gratitude goes out to you. Your contribution helps us realize and continue our mission. In addition, we will include your name and/or business information in our monthly social media blasts. We will also include your name/business information in the digital sign boards at The Auricle. If you are a business, you are also welcome to include business cards, coupons, and other materials that would help you to connect to our songwriters/attendees/supporters. If you are a business or an individual sponsor, you are welcome to attend our monthly gatherings and connect to our attendees.
